  • ½ cucumber
  • 5 tablespoons cottage cheese, 4% milkfat (71 g)
  • 1 ounce grated cheese (28 g)
  • 2 teaspoons oregano, dried (4 g)

Preparing this recipe

  1. Cut the cucumber into pieces about 4 inches long. Scoop out the seeds with a teaspoon to create hollow centers. Pat dry with paper towels.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cottage cheese, grated cheese, oregano, and freshly ground pepper.
  3. Spoon the filling into the cucumber pieces and press gently to fill.
